June-Bearing vs Everbearing
You may have heard the terms June-Bearing and Everbearing when talking about strawberry plants. What does that mean? June-Bearing strawberries produce a large crop all at once (typically in late spring/early summer–hence the name) while Everbearing varieties produce smaller crops throughout the growing season. Generally, they will yield 2-3 smaller harvests spring through fall. June-Bearing berries also tend to be a little larger and more uniform as opposed to Everbearing fruits.
